CREW SC LOOKS TO EXTEND UNDEFEATED RUN AT HOME CROSS ALL COMPETITIONS

Heading into Saturday's home match against D.C. United at Historic Crew Stadium, Crew SC is riding a 10-match undefeated streak dating back to October 18 of last year, when the Crew defeated New York City FC 3-1. Over that span, the Crew has posted a home record of 8-0-2 while outscoring opponents 19-7.

CREW SC ONLY TEAM TO NOT CONCEDE ANY GOALS IN 2021 MLS REGULAR SEASON

Through two matches in the 2021 MLS regular season, Crew SC is the only team in the League not to concede a goal. This season, the Crew has shut out both the Philadelphia Union (April 18) and CF Montreal (May 1), limiting the Union to five shots on target and Montreal to three shots on target. Currently, the Crew is tied for second-fewest shots on target allowed.

ROOM REGISTERS SEASON-HIGH EIGHT SAVES AGAINST CF MONTERREY

Goalkeeper Eloy Room made a season-high of eight saves during Wednesday's road contest against CF Monterrey in Concacaf Champions League action. Room saved eight of the 11 shots on target he faced, for a percentage of 72.7%. The eight saves equaled his single-match high for the Club, which he had previously achieved during a 2020 regular-season match against the Philadelphia Union (November 1).

WORMGOOR MAKES FIRST START AFTER RETURNING FROM INJURY

Defender Vito Wormgoor made his first start of the season for Crew SC in a road match against CF Montreal (May 1). This was Wormgoor's first appearance for the Club since July 11, 2020, after suffering a broken ankle against FC Cincinnati at the MLS Is Back Tournament and subsequently being ruled out for the remainder of the 2020 MLS season. Wormgoor appeared in 60 minutes in his return, finishing the match with 100% passing accuracy, having successfully connected on his 28 passes.

CREW SC WITH THREE REGULAR-SEASON MATCHES REMAINING AT HISTORIC CREW STADIUM

After a 2-2 draw against CF Monterrey in Concacaf Champions League action in their last home match (April 28), the Black & Gold return to MLS regular season play at Historic Crew Stadium on May 8 for a contest against fellow charter club D.C. United. May 29 will see the Crew host Toronto FC for the second of two Trillium Cup matches. Finally, Crew SC's final match at Historic Crew Stadium against Chicago Fire FC is set to take place on June 19 and will celebrate Major League Soccer’s first soccer-specific stadium.
