COLUMBUS – MLS NEXT Pro announced today Columbus Crew 2’s 28-match schedule for the 2026 regular season. Crew 2 will host its first six home matches of the season at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field before returning to Historic Crew Stadium in June.
The 2026 season will kick off on the road against New York Red Bulls II on March 1 at Montclair State University Soccer Park in New Jersey before the Capybaras head back to Columbus for three consecutive home matches.
Crew 2 will open the home schedule on March 8 at 3 p.m. against New York City FC II at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.
The Heck is Plausible derby will be played three times this season, as Crew 2 hosts FC Cincinnati 2 in Columbus on March 21, and travels to the next two at Northern Kentucky University Soccer Stadium on May 10 and June 14.
Crew 2 will wrap up its stretch of home matches at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field on Sunday, May 24 against Toronto FC II at 8 p.m., immediately following the First Team’s Sunday Night Soccer matchup against Atlanta United FC.
Decision day is slated for Sunday, September 20 against Carolina Core FC at Historic Crew Stadium.
Historic Crew Stadium opened on May 15, 1999, as the first soccer specific stadium in the United States. Now, more than 25 years later, Historic Crew Stadium continues to serve as a destination that facilitates a love for the beautiful game of soccer. The venue offers a family-friendly atmosphere and a perfect site for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon with many matches kicking off in the late afternoon. Historic Crew Stadium also hosts various OHSAA games, concerts, music festivals and major events throughout the year, including Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival and Breakaway Music Festival. This year, Historic Crew Stadium will also host the UFL’s Columbus Aviators for their inaugural season.
