COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew 2 qualified for the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs with a 1-1 draw against New England Revolution II on Sunday. The Capybaras are currently one of two Eastern Conference teams (Philadelphia Union II) to earn four playoff berths and boast an 8-2-0 record in postseason play. Crew 2 is the only team to have multiple MLS NEXT Pro Cup appearances, as well as three consecutive appearances in the Eastern Conference final.
MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day will kick off at 2 p.m. ET as Crew 2 looks to lock in a top four spot and home playoff match as they take on Carolina Core FC at Historic Crew Stadium. MLS NEXT Pro will hold its fan-favorite Pick-Your-Opponent event on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. ET to determine first round matchups for each team.
