COLUMBUS — Columbus Crew 2 today announced that Ticket Memberships for the inaugural 2022 MLS NEXT Pro season are now available for current Columbus Crew Season Ticket Members. The Club also announced that Crew 2 Season Ticket Memberships will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 25. Crew 2’s home opening match is set to take place against Orlando City B at Historic Crew Stadium on Friday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The team opens its season on the road against Fort Lauderdale CF at DRV PNK Stadium this Saturday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
“We’re excited to announce that season ticket memberships for the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro season are now available,” said Columbus Crew President of Business Operations Kristin Bernert. “Attending Crew 2 matches will give supporters the chance to see future Crew stars play in a historic venue at a very affordable price, with tickets starting as low as $5 for our First Team season ticket members. It will be a delight to see soccer fans return to Historic Crew Stadium on April 15 and we look forward to welcoming both longtime and new Crew supporters to catch Crew 2 action when the Black & Gold take the field.”
Current 2022 Crew Season Ticket Members can add Crew 2 Season Ticket Memberships for $55 via this link. Crew 2 Season Ticket Memberships for the general public will be available beginning on Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET for $130 (available here). Supporters also the have option to purchase Crew 2 season parking when purchasing Crew 2 Season Ticket Memberships. Single-match tickets for Crew 2 contests are also set to go on sale on Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET and can be purchased through this link.
Crew 2’s regular-season schedule features 12 home matches, including 11 home matches at Historic Crew Stadium and one match at Lower.com Field. Notably, the team’s home contest against Toronto FC II on Saturday, May 21 is slated to be part of a double-header played at Lower.com Field at 7:00 p.m. ET, following the First Team’s home match against Los Angeles FC.
The regular season culminates on Sunday, September 18 with an MLS NEXT Pro Decision Day home match against FC Cincinnati 2 to decide MLS NEXT Pro’s “Hell is Real” derby. Crew 2’s full schedule can be viewed at columbuscrew.com/crew2.
Crew 2 is the Columbus Crew’s developmental Second Team, which is set to participate in Major League Soccer’s recently announced MLS NEXT Pro. Crew 2 will provide a competitive professional environment for existing Crew Academy players to continue their development. Crew 2 is also set to provide the Club with more opportunities for community engagement while extending Club access to supporters.
