As part of the League-wide Soccer for All initiative, the Black & Gold kicked off a series of weekly clinics leading into the opening of New Crew Stadium in Downtown Columbus.

Alumni Frankie Hejduk, Dante Washington, and David Winner hosted a clinic for Special Olympics athletes at the newly installed mini-pitch at Blackburn Park on the east side of Downtown Columbus.
Each athlete received a Crew flag and catered lunch. The clinic featured two sessions, with each session being one hour in length. Approximately 30 athletes were in attendance along with volunteers from Special Olympics.
