Eloy Room left it all on the pitch in the Crew’s 1-1 road draw with 2021 Supporters’ Shield winner, New England Revolution. He made three saves while injured down the stretch to help the Black & Gold get the road point in Foxborough.
The Crew re-signed Room on December 3, retaining his services through the 2023 season with a Club option for 2024. He earned the club’s 2021 Defensive Player of the Year award and has registered 159 saves in 59 matches played in Columbus. Room was a finalist for Major League Soccer’s Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2020.
