All 2018 Crew SC Full Season Ticket Members receive tickets to all Crew SC U.S. Open Cup home matches through the quarterfinals as part of their memberships. As such, all 2018 Crew SC Full Season Ticket Members can claim tickets to the June 6 match beginning today. Tickets for non-Season Ticket Members go on sale this Friday and can be purchased online. All Open Cup matches that Crew SC is drawn to host will be played as true home matches at MAPFRE Stadium — the site of Crew SC's 2002 U.S. Open Cup Final victory.

The winner of the U.S. Open Cup qualifies directly for the CONCACAF Champions League with a chance to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup, a tournament featuring champion clubs from each of the six continental confederations.

Dating back to 1913, the U.S. Open Cup is the oldest cup competition in U.S. soccer. Crew SC holds a 23-17-2 record in the U.S. Open Cup, including a 13-6-1 record in the opening match in the competition dating back to the Black & Gold's tournament debut in 1998. Columbus is 6-3-0 all-time against USL teams in the U.S. Open Cup. The Black & Gold were crowned U.S. Open Cup champions on October 24, 2002, when they topped the LA Galaxy 1-0 at MAPFRE Stadium.

Up next for Crew SC, the club travels to Children’s Mercy Park for a nationally televised regular-season match against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday.
