GIVE FORWARD | Vertiv Cleat Donation

On Wednesday, October 20th, Columbus Crew, in partnership with Vertiv, donated soccer equipment as part of their commitment to supporting Special Olympics Ohio. The equipment donation took place at the Special Olympics Ohio Office and included 70 Adidas soccer cleats, 70 custom cleat bags, as well as Adidas balls and goalkeeper gloves. Attendees included: Frankie Hejduk, Columbus Crew Manager of Team Strategic Partnerships; Ryan Phillips, the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities Director of Special Olympics, Community Recreation & Aquatics; and Melissa Dykstra, Vertiv’s Director of Global Internal Communications, and Special Olympics athletes, Jack Held and Debra Goldfarb. In addition, Coach Ryan Phillips, who has led the Crew’s Unified Team, will serve as Head Coach of Team Ohio in the 2022 Special Olympics Games in Orlando.
