U.S. Soccer and U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team Head Coach Tab Ramos announced that Columbus Crew midfielder Romain Gall has been called-up to the United States’ international camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Gall is set to participate in the 10-day camp in Argentina that also includes matches against Racing Club Reserves (September 4), Defensa y Justicia Reserves (September 6) and Argentina's U-20s (September 9). As such, Gall is set to miss the Crew’s upcoming Major League Soccer match against Chivas USA at Crew Stadium on Sunday, September 7 (3:00 p.m. ET / Time Warner Cable SportsChannel).

Gall and Chivas de Guadalajara defender Luis Martir were late replacements for San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Tommy Thompson and Orlando City SC defender Tyler Turner.

Gall made his first appearance with the U-20s in November 2013. He made his debut at 18 during a camp in which the U.S. beat Atalanta Primavera, 4-1, as Gall recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Americans to victory. Most recently, Gall was named to a 20-player roster for the 2014 NTC Invitational Tournament in Carson, California from July 14-18, where he played in all three matches and helped the USA win the tournament. Prior to his time with the U-20s, he made several appearances with the U-18 squad.

Acquired via MLS weighted lottery on August 7, Gall has made one appearance in 2014 for the Black & Gold in 2014.
