Columbus Crew host Soccer For All Night, presented by Chase, vs. Philadelphia Union on Sunday, June 29

COLUMBUS As part of the club’s year-round efforts to advance participation in and a love of the beautiful game, the Columbus Crew will host Soccer For All Night, presented by Chase, at Lower.com Field on Sunday, June 29 against the Philadelphia Union here.

Celebrating the Club’s year-round efforts to elevate opportunities for everyone to play, watch and develop a passion for the sport, Soccer For All Night matchday elements will highlight inclusivity throughout Lower.com Field, Central Ohio and the world’s game.

Before the contest, Crew players will wear pre-match Pride tops designed by MLS and adidas for all the league’s clubs to don in the month of June. Sporting a vibrant, multi-colored design, the jerseys celebrate optimism and collective strength while emphasizing that “Love Lifts Us Up.”

During the pre-match ceremony, The Ladies of the Lincoln, a group of Black female singers from the Lincoln Theatre, will perform Lift Every Voice and Sing and the National Anthem. As is standard for all home Crew matches, the vocals will be accompanied by an American Sign Language interpretation, this week featuring Teresa Brunotte, Miss Deaf Ohio 2005-2007.

In partnership with Adaptive Sports Connection, athletes from Adaptive Recreational Soccer, the Greater Ohio Amputee Team, Cincinnati Amputee Soccer and the USA Women’s National Amputee Soccer team will compete in penalty kicks at halftime to further display how soccer is accessible to individuals of all abilities and celebrate the power of teamwork, resilience and inclusivity in sports. Adaptive Sports Connection serves children, veterans and adults with disabilities through outdoor and therapeutic recreation and education.

The Crew are dedicated to supporting the Columbus community through education and youth soccer initiatives to make the beautiful game more accessible.

Earlier this season, the Crew announced the opening of a third sensory inclusive room at Lower.com Field, expanding their in-game accessibility efforts by providing additional space and equipment for guests with special sensory needs. The Black & Gold have partnered with JPMorganChase to bring these environments so all Crew fans can fully enjoy matches at Lower.com Field.

The Crew have installed eight mini-pitches in Greater Columbus during the past seven years, including two in 2025. The mini-pitches are part of the club’s commitment to grow the game and strengthen youth engagement and the local communities overall.

In addition to installing mini-pitches, the Crew recently launched the Soccer in Schools Program, in partnership with Nationwide and Lower. The Columbus Crew’s Soccer in Schools program reimagines elementary physical education by bringing the joy of soccer directly into schools through a free, turnkey model that eliminates barriers to play and expands access to the game. In partnership with school districts, the program equips PE teachers with professional development training, video resources, soccer equipment and a standards-aligned curriculum that makes soccer fun, inclusive and exciting for all students. Aligned with the Stay in the Game! Attendance Network, Soccer in Schools connects attendance and soccer by offering the opportunity for high-energy in school experiences that motivate students to show up and stay active.

The Black & Gold recently joined Grandview Heights Public Library and Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Culture Pass Program to make a select number of tickets available for library customers to check out for free, allowing for easier access to Crew matches. Forty-five tickets were checked out at Grandview Heights Public Library for the Black & Gold’s match vs. the Philadelphia Union on Sunday. Ten Culture Passes will be available for in-person checkout at CML’s Main Library before six select home games.

Crew players and staff live, work, play in Columbus and fully embrace the city as their home. The Club appreciates that Black & Gold supporters come from all walks of life and represent the diverse, evolving region that continues to experience remarkable growth.
