In partnership with Major League Soccer and Black Players for Change, Columbus Crew players will commemorate Juneteenth by wearing special jerseys on Saturday, June 19 against Chicago Fire FC, with a match-worn jersey auction to follow starting Monday, June 21.
All proceeds from the auction benefit the VoyceNow Foundation, a Columbus-based non-profit organization founded by former Crew players, Zack Steffen and Alex Crognale. VoyceNow is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities for minority and underserved youth in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio.
Supporters can visit mlsauctions.com starting Monday, June 21, to place bids through Monday, July 19.
