The Independent Review Panel has rescinded the fine and one-game suspension for the red card issued to Columbus Crew SC defender Tyson Wahl for denying a goal scoring opportunity in the 86th minute of the Black & Gold's match against New York City FC on April 16.
Crew SC’s appeal for review of the play was unanimously upheld by the Independent Review Panel, which consists of one representative from the U.S. Soccer Federation, Canadian Soccer Association and Professional Referees Organization (PRO).
As a result, Wahl will be eligible to play in Crew SC’s next match against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, April 23.
