Gyasi Zardes and Pedro Santoseach scored in the first half as Columbus Crew SC topped Sporting Kansas City 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon outside Tucson, Ariz.
Zardes opened the scoring in the first minute while Santos notched his fourth goal of preseason with a penalty kick conversion in the 43rd minute.
