With 2016 coming to a close, Columbus Crew SC is looking back on some of its most memorable moments of 2016. This year was full of moments that will be remembered forever.​
A little bit of magic comes along when the U.S. Men’s National Team plays at MAPFRE Stadium. The Stars and Stripes put up impressive numbers on Tuesday night, and they extended beyond the 4-0 win on the pitch.
The World Cup qualifier against Guatemala broke a a few records, including ESPN’s most-watched CONCACAF semifinal round match. The ESPN2 telecast logged an average audience of 954,000 viewers, surpassing the previous high 902,000 viewers set on September 11, 2012. That 1-0 win for the U.S. over Jamaica in the third round of qualification was also played at MAPFRE Stadium.
