With 2016 coming to a close, Columbus Crew SC is looking back on some of its most memorable moments of 2016. This year was full of moments that will be remembered forever.
Back in February 2016, Crew SC announced a landmark and all-new hybrid broadcast partnership ahead of the Major League Soccer season. The new agreement — with both Sinclair operated stations and Time Warner Cable SportsChannel — broadcast all 31 regionally televised Crew SC regular-season matches, with the Black & Gold's remaining three regular-season matches televised nationally on ESPN or FS1. The partnership provided increased distribution to 100 percent of the Columbus market.
