MATCH GUIDE | A Soccer For All Celebration

Columbus vs. Charlotte FC - Sat., June 18 at 7:30 p.m.

It's Soccer For All Night, the Crew's highlight of a month-long celebration of soccer being a global sport for all. Numerous special activities are set to occur before, during, and after the match in recognition of all communities throughout Central Ohio.

Pre-Match Activities

  • Join the lively March to the Match at the Nordecke Block Party in Battelle Plaza – the main rally point – beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET and departing for the stadium at 6:30 p.m. ET.
  • The Pub at Lower.com Field is set to open at 4:24 p.m. ET, 96 minutes prior to the stadium gates opening for fans with tickets to the match. Supporters are able to enjoy a 96-minute happy hour with food and drink specials.
  • Write messages displaying what Soccer For All means to you on a special banner in the Community Plaza
  • Learn more about the Kaleidoscope Youth Center.
  • Enter to win an autographed Pride Top!
  • Try your luck at winning prizes through the Tim Hortons Prize Wheel, and Columbia Gas of Ohio's trivia game.
  • Enjoy Scott's Yard Games, which include soccer tennis, Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Cornhole and Soccer Pong.
  • Register for the Black & Gold 5K at M3S Sports' table.

In-Match Activities

  • Local musician T. Wong will perform a rendition of the Black National Anthem “Lift Every Voice and Sing" in honor of Juneteenth, as well as “The Star-Spangled Banner,” the U.S. national anthem.
  • The Nordecke will unveil two special tifos celebrating Soccer For All. They've worked on them for over a month, and let's just say they're jaw-droppingly spectacular.
  • During the match, both teams will be wearing "Freedom To Be" jerseys featuring numbers illustrating the history and importance of Juneteenth. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off via MLSAuctions.com from Monday, June 20th to Tuesday, July 5th with proceeds from the auction will go to VOYCENOW Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to speaking up, creating equal opportunities for all, advancing youth sports and after-school programs, and bringing communities together.
  • At halftime, the Crew will hold an on-field recognition for the Special Olympics Team Ohio, which recently earned silver medals at the 2022 Special Olympics Summer Games!

Ticketing

  • All tickets for the match are available through mobile devices; please download your ticket in advance. The easiest place to access your mobile tickets is through the official Columbus Crew App.
  • No more long waits to get your ticket scanned! Scan your own ticket(s) at the Axess turnstiles, similar to what you see at the airport.
  • Express Entry: Lower.com Field is now offering Touchless Entry featuring seamless and quick access into the stadium through Facial Ticketing. Look for the yellow “Express Entry” signs above turnstiles on the left-hand side of the AEP Gate (southeast corner). Fans can sign up for Free Express Entry before the match for the fastest way to get into Lower.com Field!

  • Lower.com Field is a cashless stadium. Cash2Card kiosks are located throughout the stadium.

Concessions

Crew Shop

  • The Crew Shop will close three hours prior to kick on matchday and open again for ticketed guests when Lower.com Field gates open.

Mask Policy

  • In accordance with the City of Columbus’ new ordinance, masks will no longer be required in indoor spaces at Lower.com Field. However, fans are welcome to continue wearing masks if they choose.

Nordecke Policy Update

  • Because of a violation of League and Club policy, all drinks will be poured into cups in the Nordecke section.
