Due to the temperature forecast for Saturday’s Crew SC match against Orlando City SC, Crew SC and MAPFRE Stadium encourage all supporters attending the match to stay hydrated and practice sun safety. Today, the following updates for the safety and benefit of supporters attending this evening’s contest were announced:
- Loosening of the MAFPRE Stadium water bottle allowance policy to now include one twenty (20) ounce or less, sealed and un-opened water bottle
- Addition of “cooling stations” on the MAPFRE Stadium plaza on the south side of the venue
MAPFRE Stadium gates are set to open at 6:00 p.m. ET ahead of the contest between the Black & Gold and Orlando. The contest is the first of two regular-season meetings between the two sides in 2019. The Black & Gold are set to induct the late Sigi Schmid into the Crew SC Circle of Honor during a halftime ceremony. The first 7,500 fans to enter MAPFRE Stadium will receive a Circle of Honor commemorative scarf.
