Martinez earned two caps for Panama during the break, first as a 75th-minute sub against Japan on Oct. 12 before coming on during second-half stoppage time in a 2-2 draw against South Korea on Oct. 16.


After a 3-0 shutout loss to Japan, who were bounced out by Belgium in the Round of the 16 of the 2018 World Cup, Panama rebounded from a 2-0 first-half deficit against South Korea to seal the draw.


To date, Martinez has earned five caps for Los Canaleros.


Justin Meram

Meram earned two caps for Iraq against a pair of 2018 World Cup qualifiers during the Superclasico Cup in Saudi Arabia.


The Crew SC midfielder played the opening 45 minutes in a 4-0 loss to Argentina on Oct. 11 before subbing on in the 55th minute of a 1-1 draw against Saudi Arabia on Oct. 15.


Meram upped his career cap total to 29 on his career.

Steffen made one appearance for the United States over the international break.


The 23-year-old started and played the full 90 minutes against 14th-ranked Colombia on Oct. 11, marking his sixth appearance this year for the Stars & Stripes and tying the modern era record for caps earned in a debut year by a goalkeeper for the National Team. Steffen’s career cap total stands at six.


Wil Trapp

Trapp started and captained the US side in a 1-1 draw against Peru on Oct. 16, bringing his career cap total to nine.


The 25-year-old's showing marked his team-leading seventh appearance of the year. Notably, Trapp has served as the captain in all seven matches.
