COLUMBUS - Haslam Sports Group today announced the hiring of Mary Shepro as Assistant Counsel. In her new role, Shepro will primarily be focused on all legal aspects of the Columbus Crew, with additional involvement in legal matters with the Cleveland Browns.

We’re thrilled that she’s chosen to join our organization and put down roots with us in Columbus.”
Shepro joins Haslam Sports Group from DLA Piper in Chicago, where she spent the last five years as an associate attorney, focusing on sports, media and entertainment law. In her role, Shepro served as a representative and counsel for various sports teams and other parties in litigation, investigations, mediation and transactions related to professional and collegiate athletics. Prior to DLA Piper, Shepro was an associate attorney at Jones Day in Chicago from 2015 to 2018.
Shepro graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University, obtained a M.S. in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she served as the Managing Senior Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review.
