eMLS | Columbus Crew signs Akron native Nick Tartaglia for 2022 eMLS season

Columbus Crew today announced that it has signed Nick Tartaglia as the Club's official eMLS Player. Tartaglia, born and raised in Akron, Ohio, is currently a student at the University of Akron.

An avid Columbus Crew and Juventus supporter, Tartaglia became a professional FIFA player in 2021, with the 2022 eMLS season marking his debut year in the league. Information on the 2022 eMLS season and competitive schedule will be announced soon.

One of the top competitive FIFA players in the state of Ohio, Tartaglia has finished Top 80 in the North American Global Series rankings on Xbox in 2021, and will make the transition to PS5 for the 2022 season.

The Akron native takes over for former Crew eMLS player Graham Ellix, a 12-year professional and winner of the 2020 eMLS Cup Last Chance Qualifier Tournament.
