Crew SC eSports, Stojkovic competes in elite EA FIFA 18 Global Playoff Series

Columbus Crew SC eSports competitor Nenad Stojkovic will spend the week in Amsterdam competing in the EA FIFA 18 Global Playoff Series afterqualifying for the Global Playoff Series by way of an unbeaten 40-0 during the “Last Chance Weekend” and being ranked No. 10in the world following that performance.


The EA FIFA 18 Global Playoff Series includes the top 64 players on both PlayStation and Xbox around the world — with just the top 16 players advancing to the eWorld Cup later this summer.


The Parma Heights, Ohio, native based out of Cleveland is an Elite 1 Player in FIFA Ultimate Team Champions and is also ranked among the Top 100 players in the America’s Region. The 31-year old is the 2010 FIFA Interactive World Champion and is the only U.S. FIFA World Champion in history. Stojkovic was also a quarterfinalist in the 2011 FIFA Interactive eWorld Cup and provided commentary for the 2012 edition of the same tournament.


Outside of gaming, Stojkovic played Division I soccer at Cleveland State University alongside Crew SC defender Josh Williams
