On Thursday, December 10th, the Crew and MLS WORKS will unveil a renovated fitness room at the Ronald McDonald House Columbus. As the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House, the renovation will benefit over 4500 families a year that stay at the facility and undergo treatment just across the street at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The renovation will include a Columbus inspired mural from local artist Hakim, $10,000 worth of fitness equipment provided by League sponsor and Clubs’ community partner AT&T, fitness towels, water bottles, a sanitation station in addition to a new video monitor and sound system that will run club fitness videos from the Ronald McDonald House app. Two lucky families staying at the RMDH facility will be invited to unveil the new space alongside Crew Cat, the Club’s mascot.

Thursday’s community event is followed by Black & Gold Friday, with fans around the city being encouraged to don their Crew SC gear in support of the Club and share on their social media accounts using the “#Crew96” and “To96ther” hashtags. Additionally, throughout the week, 10 fans who post using the hashtags will be selected to receive a Crew SC swag package of items for supporting the Club.
