COLUMBUS — Columbus Crew SC today announced its 2021 regional television and radio broadcast schedule and talent team for the 34-match regular-season campaign that begins on Sunday, April 18 [5:30 p.m. ET / FS1 / 97.1 The Fan & 971TheFan.com (English); ColumbusCrewSC.com (Spanish)]. As part of a multi-year rights agreement with the Club announced in 2019, Bally Sports Ohio and Bally Sports Great Lakes are set to produce all 27 of Crew SC’s scheduled regionally televised regular-season contests in 2021. Similarly, as part of the Crew’s multi-year agreement with RadiOhio announced last year, all Black & Gold matches are slated to air on 97.1 The Fan in English. ColumbusCrewSC.com will once again have an audio stream of all Crew SC matches in Spanish.

As previously announced, the Crew is set to be featured on national television seven times during the regular-season this year. Additional national broadcast exposure includes The Crew opening the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League on the road on April 8, against Nicaraguan side Real Esteli FC in the First Leg of the Round of 16, before hosting Real Esteli at home for the Second Leg on April 15. Both matches will be aired national on FS1 and TUDN. The Black & Gold are set to kick-off the 2021 MLS regular season at Historic Crew Stadium on Sunday, April 18, against the Philadelphia Union in a match on FS1.
Coverage on Bally Sports Ohio and Bally Sports Great Lakes will include 30-minute Crew Live pre-game and post-game shows, with the coverage also set to stream live on the regional network’s app when a consumer authenticates through their pay-tv service. Neil Sika (play-by-play), Jordan Angeli (analyst) and Brett Hiltbrand (sideline/host) will all be returning as part of the Crew SC broadcast team. On the radio front, Chris Doran is set to return the Crew’s English radio play-by-play voice. Juan Valladares also returns as the Spanish play-by-play voice of the Crew for his 13th season.
