CREW SC REMAINS ATOP MLS SUPPORTERS’ SHIELD RACE

The Crew's record of 9-2-4 in regular-season action puts the Club in first place in the Eastern Conference and Supporters' Shield standings via a +15 goal differential over Toronto FC's +10 goal differential. Should the Crew win the Supporters' Shield this season, it would mark the fourth time that the Club has won the trophy, having previously won it during the 2004, 2008 and 2009 seasons.

CALEB PORTER NEARS 100TH PROFESSIONAL WIN IN DOMESTIC COMPETITIONS

With the 2-1 victory over Minnesota United FC (September 23), Head Coach Caleb Porter tallied his 99th professional victory across all domestic competitions since joining MLS in 2013. Over that span, Porter has registered 87 wins in MLS regular-season action, five wins in MLS Playoffs action and seven wins in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup action. His next victory will mark the milestone 100th win across all domestic competitions.

BLACK & GOLD UNDEFEATED IN LAST 11 REGULAR-SEASON MATCHES AT MAPFRE STADIUM

Crew SC is undefeated in its last 11 regular-season matches at MAPFRE Stadium, with a record of 8-0-3. The streak dates back to a 2-1 victory last year over the Montreal Impact (July 20). Additionally, the Crew has won all six of its regular-season matches at MAPFRE Stadium this year, posting a record of 6-0- 0. Notably, the Crew's shutout against Nashville SC (September 19) made Crew SC the second team in MLS regular-season history to register five clean sheets in its first five home matches. Previously, only the New England Revolution team from 2005 had accomplished this feat.

GYASI ZARDES AMONG MLS GOLDEN BOOT RACE LEADERS

With nine goals through 15 regular-season appearances in 2020, Gyasi Zardes is currently in second place in this year's MLS Golden Boot standings. The forward - who is scoring at a rate of 0.68 goals per 90 minutes - sits behind only Los Angeles FC’s Diego Rossi (11 goals).

CREW SC SIGNS FORWARD KRISZTIAN NEMETH

Crew SC announced on Monday that the Club had signed forward Krisztian Nemeth (pronounced: KRIS-tee-an NAY-meth). Nemeth, 31, most recently played for FC DAC 1904 Dunajska Streda of Slovakia’s topflight. In 2015, the forward helped Sporting Kansas City win the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and was also a recipient of the MLS AT&T Goal of the Year award. Nemeth is set to join Crew SC in training and matches upon receipt of his ITC, P-1 Visa and completion of mandatory quarantine period under local government and MLS health and safety protocol. The forward will occupy an international roster spot.
