CREW SC REMAINS ATOP MLS SUPPORTERS’ SHIELD RACE

Crew SC's record of 9-2-3 in regular-season action puts the Club in first place in the Eastern Conference standings, two points ahead of the Philadelphia Union and Toronto FC (28 points). Notably, website FiveThirtyEight currently has the Black & Gold listed as favorites to win the Supporters' Shield, with a 40% chance. Should the Crew win the Supporters' Shield this season, it would mark the fourth time the Club has won the trophy, having previously won it during the 2004, 2008 and 2009 seasons.

CALEB PORTER NEARS 100TH PROFESSIONAL WIN IN DOMESTIC COMPETITIONS

With the 2-1 victory over Minnesota United FC (September 23), Head Coach Caleb Porter tallied his 99th professional victory across all domestic competitions since joining MLS in 2013. Over that span, Porter has registered 87 wins in MLS regular-season action, five wins in MLS Playoffs action and seven wins in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup action. His next victory will mark the milestone 100th win across all domestic competitions.

IRON MAN: JONATHAN MENSAH

Through 14 matches in the 2020 MLS regular season, Jonathan Mensah is one of only three field players - along with New York City FC's Alexander Callens and Minnesota United's Michael Boxall - to have played 1,260 minutes this season. The Black & Gold captain is the only player to have played every minute of every match for Crew SC this season, having also played 90 minutes in an MLS is Back Tournament Knockout Round match against Minnesota United FC.

MENSAH LEADS MLS IN CLEARANCES, COMPLETED PASSES

Thus far in the 2020 MLS regular season, no player has made more clearances than defender Jonathan Mensah (71). Mensah is also tied with New York City FC's Maxime Chanot for second-most headed clearances (36) in regular-season action, behind only Nashville SC's Walker Zimmerman. Additionally, the Ghanaian also leads the League in completed passes (821) and is second overall in attempted passes (924), behind only Los Angeles FC's Eddie Segura (930) in this category.

ARTUR REACHES 100TH REGULAR-SEASON APPEARANCE IN BLACK & GOLD

Midfielder Artur made his 100th MLS regular-season appearance in Sunday's road match against Toronto FC. The midfielder has made 91 starts in his 100 appearances while providing eight assists since joining Crew SC ahead of the 2017 MLS season. He joins Harrison Afful, Josh Williams and Hector Jimenez as one of only four players in the Crew’s current roster to have made 100 or more regular-season appearances for the Club.

ELOY ROOM LEADS MLS IN REGULAR-SEASON SHUTOUTS

Goalkeeper Eloy Room currently leads MLS in regular-season shutouts, with seven clean sheets to his name. This season, Room has registered shutouts against New York City FC (March 1), FC Cincinnati (July 11, August 29, September 6), the New York Red Bulls (July 16), Philadelphia Union (September 2) and Nashville SC (September 19).
