CREW SC TO HOST A LIVE VIRTUAL FAN EXPERIENCE FOR SUPPORTERS DURING ATLANTA UNITED MATCH
In a second screen engagement option for supporters catching the Crew SC match against Atlanta United from home, Crew SC is set to host a Live Virtual Fan Experience via Zoom on Tuesday, which will provide Black & Gold supporters with the opportunity to engage with each other virtually as well as be featured for cut-ins during the nationally televised broadcast. The virtual event, emceed by Crew SC TV broadcaster Brett Hiltbrand, begins at 7:45 p.m. ET and will feature appearances by Crew SC TV talent Neil Sika and Jordan Angeli.
CREW SC QUALIFIES TO ROUND OF 16 OF MLS IS BACK TOURNAMENT
With its 2-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Thursday, Crew SC secured its spot in the Round of 16 of the MLS is Back Tournament. The win over the Red Bulls also moved the Crew to the top of Group E, which they lead with a total of six points and a goal difference of +6. Per the guidelines of the MLS is Back Tournament, the top three teams from Group A and the top two teams from Groups B,C,D,E and F will advance to the Round of 16, along with the next three highest-ranked teams in the group stage based on points.
CREW SC LOOKS TO CONTINUE UNDEFEATED STREAK IN 2020
Through four matches in the 2020 MLS regular season, Crew SC is undefeated with a record of 3-0-1. This season, the Black & Gold have defeated New York City FC 1-0 during Opening Match (March 1), before earning a point in a 1-1 road draw against 2019 MLS Champions Seattle Sounders FC (March 7), winning against FC Cincinnati 4-0 (July 11) and most recently defeating the New York Red Bulls 2-0 (July 16). The Crew looks to extend its streak in a match against Atlanta United this Tuesday. In 2019, Crew SC defeated Atlanta during both of the regular-season matches between the clubs.
