Throughout the holiday season, Columbus Crew SC and The Salvation Army teamed up to spread Christmas Cheer and make a difference in Columbus. During the month of December, Columbus Crew SC Front Office Staff participated in The Salvation Army Angel Tree Toy Drive in an effort to help local children have a wonderful holiday season.
As part of the Angel Tree program, Crew SC staff members chose Angels from the Angel Tree located in the lobby at MAPFRE Stadium and fulfilled the holiday wishes from local children in need. Additionally, last week, as part of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, Front Office Staff volunteered to ring the bell and collect donations.
Then to wrap up the holiday season, Black & Gold Front Office staff along with representatives from Land-Grant Brewing Company and Great Lakes Brewing Company assisted with Christmas Cheer which is Central Ohio’s largest annual holiday toy and food distribution program which benefits thousands of local families during the holiday season. These opportunities were part of Crew SC’s Give Forward Initiative presented by MAPFRE Insurance.
