Following his MLS-leading fourth shutout of the season, Columbus Crew SC goalkeeper Zack Steffen was named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for the third time this season.
Steffen denied two solid opportunities from New England, first in the 11th minute with a diving stop on Jalil Anibaba's 20-yard shot.
Up 1-0 and looking to close the game out, Steffen came through with a point-blank save on Cristian Panilla in the 89th minute.
Currently, Steffen holds the League's lowest goals-against average (0.20) and the highest save percentage (93.8), having saved 15 of 16 shots on goal faced.
